With Seoul's Koba and Beijing's Palm Expo over, the next phase of the current flurry of Asian trade shows falls to Palm India in Mumbai and Broadcast Asia in Singapore. Although undeniably affected by prevailing economic problems and uncertainties – not to mention South Korea's political distress – the general signs are encouraging. Cautious talk of revived business is replacing desperation and bravado among exhibitors and visitors, some making their way around several, or even all, of the shows.
