Yamaha, in cooperation with Jazz Club, gave a one hour presentation about Dante Technology on the first and second day of the show. The presentation, which took place in the conference hall, was attended by post production specialists and audio engineering students.
Further to this, during the conference Frederick Hofilena (product manager at Yamaha Music Gulf FZE) also presented a short seminar on Dante technology to the public.
On the Jazz Club Booth, Yamaha showed the DME64N, M7CL-48, DM1000VCM, 01V96VCM and LS9-16 networked by Dante MY16-AUD. The DM1000VCM was programmed to send 5.1 surround channels while the M7CL-48 was programmed to send to several aux outs and the main stereo. Two StageMix iPad-based wireless remote controls were controlling the M7CL and LS916 mix outs.
According to the manufacturer, ‘the Radio and TV Fair was well attended by live and broadcasting professionals as well as audio engineering students. More local companies participated and showcased their capacity for live broadcasting. Seminars and conferences were held continuously for the three days and was one of the features of the show which helped exhibitors in promoting/educating the attendees.’
