More than 25 sound professionals attended the one-day event, which highlighted the manufacturer’s digital console offerings. The event was also used to unveil the new Midas Pro2 and Pro2C live audio systems to the region after the consoles’ launch at Plasa in September.
‘Our last academy took place in 2009 so it was time for a follow up event in the Middle East, especially with all the new consoles and other products from Klark Teknik,’ commented Chicco Hiranandani, business development manager at NMK. ‘Although it was a busy time of the year we still had a good turn out and more importantly great interest in the new consoles. We are excited to make some announcements soon.’
