Ohm’s HGW is a range of small profile subs that the manufacturer describes as ‘intended to be heard and not seen’. Ohm believes the current trend for high standard interiors in entertainment and leisure venues has created a demand for subs to be incorporated into furniture or under furniture without using valuable floor space. The manufacturer believes HGW will meet these needs.

Italian audio manufacturer K-array has made improvements to the mechanics of its KH4/KS4 line arrays. The enhancements reportedly allow an entire speaker array to be transported in its most compact form possible, as well as being rigged and de-rigged with a simple movement.

The Control Contractor series is the first product from Harman to be named EN-24 and EN-54-16 certified. 

The 6000A Tube is a new limited edition active stereo loudspeaker from Genelec, designed for desktop and portable use. The Harri Koskinen-designed aluminium enclosure is particularly suited for confined spaces, and is described to be ‘robust enough’ for travelling.

Extron has released the SM 3: a new compact, ‘fast-installing’ flush mount speaker featuring an Extron SpeedMount system. The manufacturer reports that the pre-install set up process is the crucial factor when attributing to the speaker’s ‘quick-install’ process. 

d&b has added to its E series speaker range. The ‘lightweight’ E4 and E5 are two-way passive loudspeakers intended for theatres, conferences, industrial presentations and broadcast studios, and as surround sound, delay and fill systems.

Community has added to its Distributed Design series with the addition of new surface mount models. 

Bag End has announced that it has updated the core modules of its TA series of Time-Aligned full range loudspeakers with a new ‘high-performance, high-frequency driver’.

Responding to customer demand, Audac has announced the release of its white WX502/0W two-way outdoor loudspeaker.

Dutch manufacturer ASL Intercom B.V. is now shipping 24-channel DS 2430 and 32-channel DS 3230 speaker stations for use in live production and broadcast applications.
