WORLD: Integrated Systems Europe 2012 opened its doors to a cold Amsterdam morning on January 31st at the Rai exhibition centre, and the show’s strength was clear to see on its first day. The organiser – confident of setting record numbers for attendance – was already celebrating record exhibitor numbers and floor space occupied as the exhibition began.

IRAN: Cimatech has completed its installation at the Ferdowsi International Grand Hotel. The project saw the integrator fit A/V systems to the hotel’s 130-seat amphitheatre and 60-seat conference hall.

TURKEY: Vortvots Vorodman (Children of Thunder) Church in Istanbul has been renovated and reopened after nearly a century unused. During this restoration project, all the sound and lighting systems have been designed by Dinakord Electronics.

CAMEROON: Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV) the country’s public national broadcaster is upgrading to Netia’s Radio-Assist 8 range of digital audio automation software, delivered by Belgian systems integrator Studiotech. 

UAE: Oasis Enterprises PPD and Hitachi have signed a partnership agreement giving Oasis the exclusive distribution of Hitachi Broadcast cameras and systems in UAE.

NAMIBIA: Omalaeti Events has recently added more HK Audio ConTour array into its rapidly expanding arsenal of concert audio systems. The company has contributed to large scale projects in Namibia such as the Mixa Live Concerts, cultural events, various music concerts and also provides technical support at Zoo Park in Windhoek.

UAE: Dubai-based Sound On Stage Events was responsible for two high profile stage productions for the UAE National Day celebrations. The events in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain saw the company call on equipment from Electro-Voice.
