CHINA: The TC Group has confirmed the appointment of Patrick Lau with immediate effect. Assuming the newly created role of export sales manager, Asia Pacific for installed sound and touring products, Mr Lau reports directly to both the VP of sales for installed sound, Carsten Ishøy and the VP of touring sales Miguel Hadelich at TC Group International.

MEXICO: More than 375 Meyer Sound loudspeakers were deployed to cover the open-air mass celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI at Bicentennial Park near Silao, Mexico. A record 268 Milo cabinets were used to ensure the crowd of an estimated 500,000 could hear the words and music clearly.

SOUTH KOREA: Two Iconyx digitally steerable array loudspeakers from US-based manufacturer Renkus Heinz are providing improved acoustic intelligibility and musical clarity in the 400-seat Donam-Dong Catholic Church. The Installation was carried out by Renkus Heinz South Korean distributor Dai Kyung Vascom.
