Meyer Sound enclosures have been chosen, according to Rivers Church, because of their reputation for fidelity and reliability. The venue posed a few challenges in terms of where loudspeakers could be placed because of sight line issues. Meyer’s UPQ series has been selected as they have a small foot print while still providing the performance and coverage required. The venue also required a compact, high-performance front fill and the UPM range was chosen for this. Upper balcony reinforcement and a centre down fill is provided by two Meyer Sound UPJ1P loudspeakers, and there are two 700-HP dual 18-inch loudspeakers placed in cavities under the stage. System processing is taken care of by a Galileo 616 digital processor.
Prosound also provided two Yamaha M7CL consoles for FOH and a Yamaha LS9 for monitors. A number of Electro-Voice Polarchoice microphones are used for the choir, while DPA Microphones models were also supplied. The installation adds to a recently acquired Meyer Sound inventory in the newly built Kid Zone children’s church. Prosound has previously installed Meyer Sound UPA-1Ps and USW-1Ps into two different multi-purpose venues in the city.
