IEM designer and producer Sensaphonics has introduced the 3MAX triple-driver custom earphone, which is the first triple-driver earphone with soft-gel silicone earpieces and field-replaceable cable. By combining a proprietary twin-driver bass system with a precision high frequency driver, the 3MAX delivers accurate in-ear audio with higher SPL and more bass headroom than any previous model in their portfolio. Sensaphonics were the first manufacturer to extend low frequency response by adding a second speaker to a custom earphone, and have met the current demands on IEM earphone performance by developing a triple-driver design that can deliver as much acoustic push as modern wireless systems can provide. The US manufacturer strongly urges 3MAX customers to use a dB check in-ear sound analyser, which is an in-line metering device that allows users to see their in-ear levels in real time, and display how long they can safely listen at that volume.
