The WMS420 wireless system, is described by AKG as a ‘versatile and high-performance single-channel wireless system’. Designed for smaller venues such as schools, town halls and houses of worship, the company aims to set new feature, performance and quality benchmarks for the single channel market. The WMS420 features detachable extended antennas that attach to the back of the receiver allowing the unit to be rack-mounted. It includes the SR420 UHF stationary receiver with two external and detachable antennas on the rear side and BNC connectors at standard 50-ohms.
Like the AKG WMS470, the HT420 handheld and PT420 pocket transmitter’s charging contacts are compatible with the AKG CU400 charging station.
