Abeem Live Technologies releases Rack Performer v0.97-alpha
Featuring a host of new models, minor modifications and bug fixes, Abeem Live Technologies has introduced version 0.97-alpha of its Rack Performer.
This updated version incorporates 51 internal modules, including a RoboControl LFO, and various remote control, metering, routing and switching modules, all of which are multi-channel compliant.
New modules included with version 0.97-alpha include PopupDesign in the following variations: x8, x4, and compact GUI wrapper, as well as six Matrix Mixer options available in the following options: 16x16, 8x8, 4x4, 1x16, 1x8, and 1x4. The updated Rack Performer also boasts nine Matrix Router options ranging from routing one source to four destinations, to routing 16 sources to 16 destinations, and features a total of eight destination switches, a DC blocking filter, and includes noise generators in the following variations: Brown Noise BNG1, Pink Noise PNG1 and White Noise WNG1.
Other modules new to the 0.97-alpha version include three special modes that display arbitrary text in small, medium and large formats, as well as including new delay compensated and non-compensated retard modules, latency report, an RMS, a presence and a peak meter, and a CamoGain with peak LED function.
Minor modifications include a CPU overload visual warning which appears in the transport bar, improved multi-processor resources management, and the inclusion of a new option designed to enable strict processor affinity mode.
The manufacturer states that the Rack Performer features improved CPU topology detection, Pentium TSC calibration, reference timing precision and automatic configuration, as well as an improved power consumption on mobile systems plus a more efficient high performance timer clock identification option.
A reported 13 bugs that were common in the previous Rack Performer have also been fixed.
