Published: ASIA

WORLD: Sennheiser and Apogee Electronics have announced a new partnership agreement at this year’s NAMM. The details of the agreement have not been made public at this time, however a statement released by Apogee co-founder and CEO, Betty Bennett, hints that the two companies intend to draw on technologies from their respective product portfolios for the development of a new line of audio equipment.

‘This is a very exciting collaboration for us,’ enthused Ms Bennett. ‘Sennheiser is a highly respected brand with an incredible product portfolio and an extensive global reach. Our reputations for delivering premium products to the pro and prosumer markets are well aligned and our core competencies are very complimentary. This collaboration will result in innovative, high-quality products that will truly inspire our customers.’

‘Apogee and Sennheiser are a perfect fit,’ added Sennheiser COO Peter Claussen. 'We both operate in the demanding premium sector, serving professional and semi-professional audio customers across the globe. Our product portfolios perfectly complement each other, and I am looking forward to collaborating with a company that has truly pushed the boundaries of digital audio.’
