Atlona appoints director of training and technical sales

WORLD: Atlona has named Ken Eagle as its director of training and technical sales, where he will be responsible for training and education, as well as presale solutions engineering.

Mr Eagle has extensive A/V industry experience across several organisations within the custom integration, sales and training sectors. Most recently, he served as the owner and founder of a custom integration company where he grew sales to US$1 million in six years.

Previously, he held the position of regional sales manager at AVI-SPL and during a tenure at Digital Projection International, he was responsible for managing outreach relations, education and training for North America. In addition, Mr Eagle is a Dealerscope 40 Under 40 recipient, a CE Pro Quest for Quality award winner, and is recognised as a registered outreach instructor by Cedia.

‘Over the course of his career Ken has demonstrated a constant commitment to developing relationships with every faction of the A/V marketplace,’ said Ilya Khayn, president and CEO, Atlona. ‘He is extremely respected within our industry and we look forward to applying his dynamic training programmes and sales expertise to the exciting innovations that we have on the horizon.’

Mr Eagle has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Oakland University and holds certifications from Cedia, ISF and CTS.
