Atlona promises seamless A/V integration from Control4
Atlona recently unveiled new Control4 drivers for its Pro3HD, Pro2HD and H2H families of HDMI matrix switchers. The new drivers have been optimised to facilitate seamless integration and compatibility in a range of A/V systems using the Control4 platform.
The manufacturer has created and tested drivers to integrate with solutions from Control4, in addition to Vantage, Neets, RTI, URC, ELAN, Clare Controls, On Controls, and many other control system manufacturers. These drivers help simplify the integration of Atlona matrix switchers and related products in a range of automation and control systems, allowing system designers, architects, integrators and installers to save time and money.
Atlona has also started shipping its range of HDMI extenders featuring HDBaseT-Lite technology and its AT-H2H-88M 8x8 HDMI matrix switcher.
The former comprises an extender family that sends audio, video and IR control over a single category cable. The HDMI extenders feature locking HDMI and USB firmware update ports, support for resolutions up to UltraHD (4Kx2K), and CEC pass-through. Along with support for 3D, they also support digital audio signals up to DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.
Meanwhile, the matrix switcher is designed for signal routing in large professional installations. The AT-H2H-88M boasts a feature set that includes EDID management, S/PDIF audio loop outs, multiple control interfaces, in-field upgradable firmware and Audio Return Channel (ARC).
