WORLD: The Audio Engineering Society has announced new details regarding the 136th AES Convention, which will be held in Berlin, Germany on April 26th-29th, 2014 at the Estrel Hotel and Convention Center. The 136th Convention co-chairs are Sascha Spors and Umberto Zanghieri.
This year’s event will provide a full technical programme of papers, posters, e-briefs, tutorials and workshops covering a comprehensive range of audio-related topics, and will feature professionals from every aspect of the industry. The Berlin convention will feature a strong focus on sound for picture, recording, and broadcast aspects of audio engineering, in addition to various off-site technical tours and social events.
Following the success of the Project Studio Expo (PSE) at recent AES conventions in San Francisco and New York, the PSE will also make its European debut at AES136, and will provide participating companies with a chance to interface directly with interested end users and customers.
