Published: MEA

EMEA: Avid is highlighting a string of installations in the EMEA region as evidence that the Pro Tools S6 control surface is helping customers to embrace Avid Everywhere. According to the manufacturer, Pro Tools S6 helps users ‘streamline workflows, increase operational efficiencies, and collaborate more effectively across their organisations’.

‘Since its release less than a year ago, the excitement and interest in Pro Tools S6 has been enormous,’ said Tim Hurrell, director of EMEA Audio at Avid. ‘As one of the newest components of Avid Everywhere, the S6 is already demonstrating considerable success in helping our customers connect more effectively, efficiently, and profitably with consumers. It is elevating their ability to create the best sounding mixes even under the pressure of aggressive project schedules and budgets. We are proud to continue to be the technology force behind the world’s most creative and successful audio professionals.’

In other news, the manufacturer has also launched The Avid Advantage, a major service and delivery initiative delivered by a newly formed Avid Global Services organisation. The Avid Advantage is a key element of Avid Everywhere, with this programme, Avid is rolling out a host of expanded services, support, and education programmes to help customers maximise and accelerate the return on their investment, and deepen their collaboration with Avid. The company aims to provide customers with the ongoing expertise and assistance they need to ensure continued success.

‘With the Avid Advantage, we are committed to matching the revolutionary technology innovation in Avid Everywhere with an all new industry standard for service and customer collaboration,’ said Rick Lowenstein, senior vice president of Avid Global Services. ‘The Avid Global Services team is completely focused on helping our customers drive to faster success and maximum ROI, and we’re already seeing success – having cut our case backlog in half over the past six months.’
