UAE: Avid’s presence at Cabsat will focus on showcasing Avid Everywhere, the company’s strategic vision for leading the broadcast industry forward. According to the manufacturer, Avid Everywhere helps ‘connect creative professionals and media organisations with their audiences in a more powerful, efficient, collaborative, and profitable way’.

In addition, Avid will also have Gravity editor, Bafta and Academy Award Nominee, Mark Sanger, present at the show. The manufacturer states that ‘his support represents a solid commitment and appreciation from Avid end users’. Mr Sanger will also participate in an exclusive discussion alongside Tom Cordiner, Avid vice president of international sales. The session, which takes place at 11.30 on March 12th, will cover the challenges faced in the world of editing and will highlight the advantages of Media Composer’s features in creating award winning blockbusters.

‘As an editor, you always have to be one step ahead of the game with the technology and that is what I find exciting with the latest version of Media Composer,’ said Mr Sanger. ‘I am looking forward to attending Cabsat with Avid and to share my vision and work experience with fellow industry professionals in the region.’

At the show, Avid will also showcase workflow demonstrations highlighting its solutions for postproduction facilities and broadcasters.
