INDIA: Barco has signed a partnership agreement with Mumbai-based audiovisual distribution company Green Sources, to extend its reach throughout the Indian subcontinent. According to Barco, the company is considered one of the premium distributors of A/V, videoconferencing and office automation solutions in the region, with a team of technically skilled and highly motivated staff that customers can rely on.

‘Over the last few years, Green Sources has established itself as one of the top value-added distributors in the Indian A/V market,’ commented Mr Vivekanand, country mnager at Barco India. ‘We are pleased to appoint Green Sources as national distributor of our projection portfolio for corporate A/V applications. I am sure this association, together with the well-established partner network of Green Sources, will enable Indian customers to enjoy the unmatched product quality of Barco.’

‘Green Sources has always partnered with market leaders in technology and Barco, being a global technology company, is a perfect match,’ added Sawdesh Khetawat, director at Green Sources. ‘Together with Barco, we are confident that we will be able to meet the growing needs of the Indian A/V industry. Currently, we see a vacuum for high-quality projectors with local service support, offered at the right price. Teaming up with Barco, we now have what it takes to fill this gap and create happier customers. The introduction of Barco’s range of projectors in the Indian market is already being met with much enthusiasm. I am sure that the Indian A/V industry will have a pleasant time going forward with Barco on their side.’

‘The appointment of Green Sources gives Barco the ideal stage to debut our latest corporate projectors in India,’ furthered Barco’s Mandar Gupte. ‘We’re proud to offer the Present series which covers a wide brightness spectrum from 3,000 lumens up to 10,000 lumens, and resolutions like WXGA, WUXGA and native 2560x1080 and 2560x1600, to provide customers with the largest choice to find the perfect match for their application.’
