China’s Wave Round Creative joins Energia Network
CHINA: Jiangsu-based, Wave Round Creative Co Ltd, has become the latest Chinese rental house to join Adamson’s Energia network. The company was looking to scale-up its existing audio inventory as it seeks to provide services to larger-scale events in the region. The sale was supported by Adamson’s distributor for China, Real Music Acoustics & Lighting Technology.
‘When we started looking at larger line arrays we heard a lot about Adamson and the Energia system,’ explained Wave Round technical director David Wang. ‘Once we heard it we were extremely impressed with the mid and low frequency energy – it is very strong. We were confident this was the system that would allow the company continued growth.’
The new system includes 32 E15 and 24 E12 line array modules, with 24 E219 and six E218 subwoofers. The sale also includes a total of 12 multi-purpose Spektrix enclosures for front and side fill requirements and a further 16 M15 and two M215 stage monitors.
‘We are very excited to have Wave Round join the Energia network,’ added David Dohrmann, technical director Asia Pacific for Adamson. ‘They are a well-respected company in the region that is experiencing tremendous growth. We are glad that an Adamson PA can play a role in their continued success.’
The Energia system has already had its debut outing, providing sound reinforcement for 15,000 fans at the recent Triple Jam concert at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan. ‘The E15s line arrays are quite powerful, the system performed extremely well,’ commented Mr Wang.
