Christie grows Middle East team
MIDDLE EAST: Christie has expanded its Middle East team with two new regional sales manager appointments. Mahesh Singh has been promoted to regional sales manager with responsibility for the Gulf. Joe Graziano, has been appointed regional sales manager with responsibility for five territories, working closely with the Dubai team.
‘Mahesh is a long-standing member of the Middle East team and deserves much of the credit for enabling us to turn Christie into one of the most recognised projector and display brands in the region,’ said Simon Smith, VP of EMEA at Christie. ‘Equally, Joe has been with Christie for eight years and built us an incredible reputation and business base in his role as market development manager for Christie MicroTiles.’
Mr Singh will have sales management responsibility for the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Lebanon markets, and will continue to support Christie's long-standing relationships within rental staging and distribution channels with additional focus on key vertical accounts and markets within the region. ‘I’m personally delighted to take up the role with additional responsibilities and am sure that the bigger team will only allow us greater resources to improve further our continued support to the partners/end users across the region; many for example have more than one office located in different countries within the region,’ he stated. ‘Christie are recognised for offering a second to none comprehensive regional service as Christie offers partners/end users everything from pre-sales design assistance, product demonstration, installation, commissioning, technical training and product repair and maintenance services locally.’
Mr Graziano will also continue in his role as market development manager for Christie MicroTiles whilst taking additional responsibility for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Cyprus. ‘I’m really excited by the challenge of these territories,’ he noted. ‘Simon, Mahesh and the team have built up an incredible amount of trust in the region so I want to build on that, maintain some of the excellent relationships we now have and contribute more to our stability and focus as we grow further.’
