Reloop has launched a modular controller named Contour that can be integrated into every DJ software surroundings. Configured and optimised for Traktor PRO, it is possible to control up to four decks, due to the intelligent deck switch system. In doing so the large, backlit buttons shed light on the current status via LED feedback.
It is arranged into segments for deck, sample, and loop control, and the touch-sensitive jog wheel can be adjusted in four different modes. Overall it has 45 controllers on four banks: All control elements are full-size and of professional quality.
The Contour Interface Edition was especially developed for DJs that wish to integrate Traktor in their existing setup. A hi-speed USB audio interface was implemented in this edition which allows routing up to four stereo channels to a mixer. This way Contour can be used for transport, sampler/hot cue, effect and deck control while the mixer can be used for mixing the tracks. In stand-alone mode it is also possible to use Contour with a notebook. There are also two headphones connections on the front side for direct monitoring.
The Digital Jockey series has a new version: the Master Edition. It features a symmetric output enabling a club PA to be connected directly, and a second booth output gives the DJ their own monitor. A further highlight is the stand-alone mixing function: Two CD players or turntables can now be mixed with the Digital Jockey – even without software or a computer. Furthermore the flexible input routing allows users to route the mic and the phono/line inputs to the software or the master output. The signal processing of the Digital Jockey 2 – Master Edition – is completely digital.
Reloop’s Play is a small DJ soundcard with 24 bit/96 kHz sound quality. It offers two play modes: external mixer mode where it is possible to route two separate stereo channels to an external mixer; and controller mode where a master ouptut is routed to the sound system and it is possible to connect headphones directly to the interface. Both stero channels' volume can be comfortably adjusted via separate controllers.
