DIFF uses DIS for translation

Published: MEA

UAE: The ninth edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) called on translation equipment from Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) for some of its gala events and educational sessions.

The translation needs were covered by the manufacturer’s DCS 6000 IR system. The equipment was supplied by Lotus Translation Services on a rental basis and was put to use at the DIFF venues at the Mall of the Emirates and the Madinat Jumeirah.

For the translation services at the Mall of the Emirates, Lotus called on the manufacturer’s new CU 6105 control unit. This has reportedly been a success with the company’s technicians being described as ‘very much appreciating the comfortable handling via the web browser’.
