Daktronics contracted for Royal Celebration Halls
QATAR: US-based manufacturer, Daktronics, has been involved with the installation at Doha’s Royal Celebration Halls. The company has provided 10 video displays for the project and has been contracted for a further 10. The install involves the construction five Royal Celebration Halls throughout Qatar.
‘When the government of Qatar trusted eMediaNet to implement various systems at the prestigious Royal Celebration Halls, we decided to make these halls showcases using the latest state-of-the-art technologies, reputable manufacturers and leaders in their field. For these reasons, Daktronics was selected to play a major role in these projects,’ said eMediaNet CEO Mohammed Hejazi. ‘After dealing with Daktronics, they proved to have the best LED display for our applications. Not only do they have superior quality LED displays, but Daktronics customers also enjoy high-quality, responsive professional support for their installations.’
Each of the five celebration locations consist of five individual halls, each hall accommodating up to 500 guests. The five halls at one location can be joined together for larger celebrations of up to 2,500 guests. The manufacturer describes the displays as providing 'an additional entertainment element to all events held at these locations'.
Of the 10 displays already installed, four measure 2.25m high by 3.25m wide and the other six measure 5m high by 9m wide. Daktronics installed two LED video displays in each hall for the first part of the project. For the next portion , Daktronics will again install two displays in each hall. These 10 new displays will feature the same technology and the same measurements as the first installation.
