INDIA AND ISRAEL: British audio manufacturer Drawmer Electronics has appointed new distributors for India and Israel. Mumbai-based Modi Digital has been named as the exclusive distributor for India, while in Israel the brand will be distributed exclusively by Sontronics Electronic Equipment.

According to the manufacturer, Modi Digital is an experienced supplier of audio and video equipment for the film, music recording, postproduction and broadcast sectors, while Sontronics Electronic Equipment specialises in the design and installation of radio station studios, TV sound rooms, recording studios and live performance venues. Both companies will support and promote the complete range of Drawmer studio, install and broadcast products, including its 1960 vacuum tube compressor and 1973 three-band FET compressor as well as the newer MC2.1 monitor controller and SL22 sound level limiter.

‘We’re delighted to be working with the well respected teams at Sontronics and Modi Digital,’ commented Drawmer Electronics managing director, Ivor Drawmer. ‘Both companies are ideally placed to develop the Drawmer brand and provide a high level of service and technical support to audio professionals working in all industry sectors.’
