Duran Audio presents EN54-24 PA/VA range

Published:

Duran Audio’s Axys Intellivox ADC Mark II range is intended for use in 70V/100V public address and voice alarm (PA/VA) systems.

In-keeping with the brand’s other Intellivox products, the ADC range has been designed to maximise listening comfort and provide highly intelligible speech reproduction – even within difficult reverberant spaces.

The units are EN54-24 approved for both indoor and outdoor use and can be driven by the Axys IndustryAmp range of DSP controlled 70V/100V multichannel amplifiers. Having the EN54-24 certification allows the speakers to be utilised across a vast range of applications whilst offering full PA/VA compliance.

Also new from Duran Audio is the ABF260/100W tunnel horn loudspeaker, a more powerful version of the manufacturer’s 50W model of the same design.

Optimised to deliver clear and intelligible messages in the hostile acoustic environment synonymous with tunnels, the ABF260/100W boasts a 100W driver, a new injection moulded construction and improved ingress protection. Additionally, the speaker takes on a modular design, allowing its height to be reduced in tunnels where the vehicle envelope is very close to the tunnel ceiling.

Like the Intellivox ADC Mark II range, the ABF260/100W has been designed for use with the Axys IndustryAmp range of DSP controlled 70V/100V multichannel amplifiers, which provide the necessary delay and signal processing required for tunnel systems.
