Eighth Day Sound invests in Adamson E-Series
WORLD: Eighth Day Sound has bolstered its global equipment inventory with the purchase of more than 200 Adamson E-Series loudspeakers. The events services company operates all over the world out of its offices in the US, UK and Australia and will be using the new speakers alongside its existing E15 line array to help cater to consistent growth.
‘When we first bought the Adamson system it was new and still a work in progress,’ explained Sean Sturge, Eighth Day Sound’s global sales manager. ‘Since then we’ve worked closely with their engineering and marketing teams to refine a package that ensures the highest performance, service and efficiencies for our clients. We’re excited to now be able to field Adamson products everywhere we do business.’
‘Every engineer that has been in front of this system agrees that it’s one of the best they’ve ever heard,’ added Eighth Day Sound director of touring services Owen Orzak. ‘The Adamson package is extremely flexible – able to handle any configuration necessary. It’s also nice that their headquarters are nearby. It makes it even easier to communicate and collaborate with their team.’
The complete purchase included 108 E15 and 30 E12 line array enclosures with 80 units of an as yet unannounced subwoofer model. The cabinets will reportedly be shared between the company’s US, UK and Australian offices.
‘Eighth Day Sound has developed a corporate culture that businesses in and outside of our industry would envy,’ offered James Oliver, director of sales and marketing at Adamson. ‘They have a team of staff that is passionate for their craft and fully immersed in the selection process for new equipment. Working with their technicians and engineers to find a way to integrate Adamson products into their inventory offering was a challenging and hugely rewarding process. To have our product now available wherever Eighth Day does business is something we’re excited to be a part of and we’re looking forward to a long and successful partnership.’
