Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd hosts Singapore Mackie launch
SINGAPORE: A special launch event for the Mackie DL1608 mixer and DLM Series enclosures recently took place at Singapore’s Wala Wala, Holland Village live music venue. The invitation-only event was hosted by Electronics & Engineering Pte Ltd (E&E), and attended by a mixture of dealers, systems integrators, rental staging companies, technical professionals and end-users.
John Boudreau, Mackie senior vice president of marketing, led demonstrations of the DL1608 digital live sound mixer with iPad control and the 2000W ultra-compact and lightweight DLM Series loudspeakers, which feature a built in digital mixer.
Among the attractions was an acoustic performance by local band 53A, plus a lucky draw which saw three winners walk away with two Mackie Blackjacks and one DL1608.
During the presentations Mr Boudreau described the DLM Series as ‘an innovative powered loudspeaker line featuring TruSource fidelity, plus 2000W of class–leading power in the most compact loudspeaker design Mackie has ever offered’.
‘We are honoured to have John here in Singapore to launch these exciting new products from Mackie,’ enthused Gary Goh, E&E deputy managing director. ‘The DL1608 has been very well received since we previewed it at the Houses of Worship Technologies Show, and now paired with the concurrent launch of the DLM Series provides users with a whole new level of innovation in the portable sound reinforcement market.’
