Expert quality designs from RapcoHorizons DesignVision
The RapcoHorizon Company has introduced DesignVision, a panel design program created specifically for the company’s network of professional systems integrators, dealers and contractors.
According to the manufacturer, the new software allows users to create ‘expert quality custom installation diagrams’ with no CAD experience, and receive ‘fast, accurate quotes at the click of a button.’ Available as a free download from the Rapco Horizon website, the software is Windows compatible.
The manufacturer has also announced the release of the Momentum line of products, as well as an upgradable mTweak app.
The Momentum mo8me is the DSP-based mix engine component of the Momentum digital audio distribution network. The Momentum Digital Audio Distribution Network is designed to replace traditional analogue audio wiring anywhere audio distribution is needed. It utilises 32 network inputs with three band EQ and HPF (high pass filter). Output mixes can be mono or stereo and include three band EQ and panning control.
According to the manufacturer, difficulties in executing complicated audio systems can be simplified by capturing audio at the source, converting it to digital audio and distributing it over a standard Ethernet network.
Meanwhile, the Momentum mo8me personal monitor mixers’ mTweak app is now compatible with the Apple iPad. Described by the manufacturer as ‘a tremendous advantage among touring artists’, the mo8me mTweak feature allows users to use their iPods, iPhones, and iPads to wirelessly tweak their personal monitor mix.
Originally released for the iPhone and iPod Touch, mTweak users can control and mute up to 32 channels while any mo8me mixer in the network can be accessed from one device. Additionally, the password protection feature allows for programmable ID’s and lock-out functions.
