Fast 50-disc publisher from Primera
Building on the success of its Bravo 4100-Series, Primera Technology has announced the release of a new model named the Bravo 4051 disc publisher. Where it differs to the manufacturer’s previous model is that instead of housing a 100-disc capacity, it has a capacity of 50, and is therefore available for a lower price.
According to the manufacturer, the Bravo 4051 is ‘the fastest 50-disc publisher available’, and can print a full-colour, 100 per cent coverage disc in just six seconds. The smaller capacity disk publisher includes individual CMYK ink cartridges so as to lower the ink cost per disc, and apparently has 300 per cent faster robotics when compared to previous models.
Boasting a dpi print quality of 4,800, the Bravo 4051 also features a high-speed Sony Optiarc CD/DVD drive, a seventh-generation disc picking mechanism, and is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X 10.6 (or higher), including OS X Lion (10.7).
An interior blue LED light provides job status feedback, and an optional blu-ray disc recordable drive with an eSATA interface is available to facilitate 12 x BD-R recording speeds.
The Bravo 4051 disc publisher is the product name assigned for the Asian market.
