Genelec 4000 series available in over 200 colours

Genelec has announced that its 4000 series is available in a choice of over 200 RAL colour finishes.

Described as ‘easy to install’, Genelec reports that the updated 4000 series can be discreetly integrated into end-user environments of all types and design.

According to the manufacturer, the new colours are suited to applications where speakers are required to blend in or stand out, and can be bold or discreet, depending on user requirements.

All models in RAL colours are available to special order, and according to Genelec, the new finishes can contribute to the design of clubs, restaurants, theatres, or galleries.

The 4000 series’ built-in protection circuitry reportedly guarantees the loudspeaker system is reliable in all operating conditions, as all drivers are electronically protected from signal peaks and system misuse.

Additionally, the series’ ‘room response’ controls include calibrated bass tilt, treble tilt and bass roll-off, which allow the optimisation of the loudspeaker’s response to different acoustical environments. Mounting is said to be simple due to the incorporation of integrated support points for Omnimount 20.5 series hardware, which is included on the back panel of the enclosures.
