Harris Broadcast appoints president of global sales
WORLD: Harris Broadcast has appointed Pablo Gargiulo to the role of president of global sales. Mr Gargiulo will report directly to Charlie Vogt, CEO of Harris Broadcast, and will be responsible for leading a newly created global sales organisation, which spans 140 countries and 3,000 customers.
Organised into four customer-facing regions, comprising Asia, the Middle East and Africa, CALA and Europe, the new organisation will offer customers a more comprehensive sales leadership for each region will and support the company’s market strategies.
Subsequently, the company has announced that Joe Khodeir and JiShun Mei will act as sales executives for Asia, Mathias Eckert for EMEA, Chris Ziemer for north America, and Nahuel Villegas for CALA.
Mr Gargiulo has a background in international sales and organisational leadership, having led global sales organisations, supply chain, customer support, professional services and marketing over the past 25 years across the telecom, MSO and technology sectors. He most recently served as chief operating officer and executive vice president of Xtera Communications Inc.
From 2007 to 2012, Mr Gargiulo held several strategic roles at Genband, including president of global sales and executive vice president of operations. He joined Genband from Tekelec, where he was vice president of customer operations. Prior to Tekelec, he held leadership positions with Taqua, KTI and Kao Infosystems.
