Henning Kaltheuner to lead d&b audiotechnik market research department
WORLD: d&b audiotechnik has opened a market research department, appointing Henning Kaltheuner to lead it under the title market research manager. The creation of the department, which will be based in Backnang, reportedly follows a period of significant growth for the German manufacturer.
Mr Kaltheuner joined d&b at the beginning of December 2013, having previously worked for Riedel Communications as head of product management, before which he was based in Japan within the product planning department of Yamaha Commercial Audio. He has also previously run his own boutique pro audio company, Teqsas, and worked for German rental company Padco.
A graduate of Köln University with a masters degree in psychology, Mr Kaltheuner argues that his qualifications and experience within professional audio represent the ideal combination for his new role. ‘Marketing is by definition both a science and an art, and those two factors also reside at the heart of what d&b audiotechnik does as a developer and manufacturer of professional audio systems,’ he explained.
