High resolution video panels from Chauvet Professional

High resolution video panels from Chauvet Professional

Published:

The latest release from Chauvet Professional takes the form of two solid, indoor high-resolution video panels. Joining the brand’s VIP Series, the PVP S5 and PVP S7 are lightweight additions to the manufacturer’s video panel line, and as such are optimised to operate seamlessly with the series’ media systems, drivers, signal distributors and signal processors.

The video panels are particularly suited for permanent indoor installations, and the fixtures work together interchangeably to create large wall designs of mixed resolutions, which can easily be rigged by a single person.

Each high-resolution panel uses black face, tri-coloured SMD LEDs in order to increase contrast, while the tight pixel pitch (PVP S5 at 5.2mm and PVP S7 at 7.8mm) decreases the viewing distance, making the panels suited for high-resolution graphics and live-action video. Completing the list of key features is an integrated auto-aligning housing that allows for precise pixel alignment and four additional M10 mounting points, meaning that each panel’s modular nature and solid construction allow for fast, easy setup and long-term installation.

An optional PVP rigging kit is also available for hanging from pipes or trusses, and both panels are available in eight-piece packs with road cases for easy transportation. Meanwhile, secure Neutrik powerCon and etherCon connectors add to the panels’ design compatibility.
