Sennheiser has launched new colour options for the tiny MKE1 clip microphone, which now come in white and brown versions. In addition, a 3.5mm jack plug is integrated into the design allowing connection to body-pack transmitters of the evolution wireless series. A new accessory kit includes everything required for securely attaching the clip.

The German manufacturer is also shipping the HDI 830 and RI 830 S wideband infrared receivers with the L 300 10-10 charging units. The receivers are for providing assistive listening in public venues and institutions such as schools, courthouses, houses of worship, theatres and conference rooms. For recharging, the receivers are placed into the charging unit facing in either direction and recharging starts automatically, for which up to 10 receivers plus up to 10 BA 300 batteries can be charged simultaneously. The new receivers are compatible with all Sennheiser wideband infrared modulators and radiators using the carrier frequencies 2.3MHz and 2.8MHz. Stereo, mono or two-channel applications can be implemented using the SI 30, SI 1015 and SZI 1015-T modulators and SZI 30, SZI 1015 or SZI 1029 radiators.
