Mahajak Trio Electronic Sdn Bhd holds JBL and Studer demo
MALAYSIA: With support from Harman Professional Asia Pacific, Mahajak Trio Electronic Sdn Bhd (MTE) recently held a JBL VTX and a Studer Vista live demonstration event at the MTE showroom in Kuala Lumpur.
Approximately 120 guests attended to see Harman Pro Asia’s Graham Rowlands, regional sales director, and Stuart Dingwall, application manager, demonstrate the JBL VTX line array and the Studer Vista 5 console. Meanwhile Chip Chong, project sales manager at MTE, was tasked with assisting dealers and system integrators on utilising the various Harman products and technologies.
Attendees included a mixture of local sound engineers, system designers, consultants, production companies and broadcasting professionals. During the outdoor session, a JBL VTX V25 line array system was demonstrated, as were a number of JBL VTX S28 cardioid-arrayable subwoofers, a Studer Vista 5 console, Crown’s Itech 12000HD and Itech 4x3500HD amplifiers with BSS Omnidrive HD DSP and an AKG WMS4500 wireless microphone system.
The second part of the day was dedicated to a hands-on session in MTE’s showroom, where guests were able to familiarise themselves with Soundcraft’s Si Performer and Vi1 digital audio mixer with Vistronics control, in addition to a Studer OnAir1500 radio broadcasting and production mixer, JBL’s PRX400 and STX800 series speakers and AKG’s DMS700 digital wireless microphone system.
‘Besides showcasing the new products from JBL and Studer, we demonstrated products that form a complete sound system solution that integrate with each other seamlessly,’ said David Yap, director of Mahajak Trio Electronic Sdn Bhd.
‘For this event, we integrated our latest products and technologies from Harman Pro – including the Studer Vista, JBL VTX and Crown Itech HD – to bring a whole new listening experience to the guests,’ added HL Teo, general manager of Mahajak Trio Electronic Sdn Bhd.
