Mipro wins 2012 National Invention and Creation Award
TAIWAN: Mipro was recently awarded a 2012 National Invention and Creation Award in the Contribution Awards category. Mipro president, Solomon Chang accepted the award from vice president of Taiwan, Wu Den-yih.
The event was organised by Taiwan's Intellectual Property Office, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs made the winning announcement. The winning products were then displayed in Taiwan’s World Trade Center and a press conference was held shortly after to showcase R&D capabilities.
Each year up to six winners are announced. Mipro states that ‘most of the winners are large, public-traded corporations and MiPro is the only small and medium enterprise selected among these distinguished groups.’
‘In addition to winning Taiwan's First Brand and Gold Medal Quality Product awards, this latest accolades affirms our core value in designing superior products that are innovative, functional and reliable to earn trusts for the audio professionals,’ commented Mr Chang. ‘Many thanks to the Intellectual Property Office for this award and affirmation in our products.
