Multimedia releases from AmpliVox
AmpliVox has developed a series of multimedia speakers that can be integrated with video conference carts, digital signage and interactive white boards. The lightweight, compact line array speakers are designed can be mounted onto any A/V furniture, for which three models are available.
The S1234 is passive sealed type speaker, housed in a rotational moulded enclosure comprising of six 2-inch speakers. The SS1234 is an amplified version outfitted with a 50W amplifier that can be used as a stand-alone speaker. The SW1234 is also amplified, but comes with a 16-channel UHF wireless microphone kit. All three models include a ‘C’ shape mounting bracket for wall installation.
The newly updated SW720 wireless PA system supports audio or video to be played from MP3s, CDs, DVDs or any iDevice from Apple and is further complemented by a wireless UHF 16-channel handheld microphone.
Designed as a plug and play solution in rooms hosting multimedia presentations up to 250 sq-m in size, the remote controllable SW720 includes an S1732 cable and adapter, enabling iPads and other Apple devices to be played and charged at the same time. The unit also contains an integrated DVD/CD/MP3 player with USB/SD card reader and video output allowing DVDs to be viewed with a projector or other video display. A voice priority switch mutes music when the microphone is in use, whilst separate bass/treble controls allow for easy sound adjustments. The 5kg enclosure is constructed of moulded plastic and comes with a handle and protective cover and is capable of running up to six hours on an integrated rechargeable battery.
The US manufacturer is also shipping wireless microphones that broadcast over 16 UHF channels, expanding the capability and range of previous two-channel models by allowing multiple users in the same venue, whilst avoiding interference with competing wireless frequencies. The new AmpliVox 16-channel UHF microphones are available as a handheld wireless microphone with a bodypack-style transmitter and receiver.
