New sales positions for Symetrix
WORLD: Symetrix has expanded its sales division with two new positions by promoting two individuals from within the company to fill them. Tim Murray, former regional sales manager, West will serve as director of sales, US and Canada, whilst Mark Ullrich, former senior technical sales engineer, has been appointed to the role of international sales manager. Both will report directly to Symetrix CEO Paul Roberts in their new roles.
Mr Murray has worked for the company for five years, and has over two decades of experience in the audio industry. In previous roles, he has worked as an independent representative, managed a professional audio retail store, and has worked for both pro audio manufacturers and distributors.
‘I will use my comprehensive industry experience to help guide our excellent team toward continued growth and an increased market share presence in the US and Canada,’ said Mr Murray.
‘Tim has an excellent understanding of the market and the technology,’ commented Mr Roberts. ‘His ability to build strong business relationships and his effectiveness as a regional sales manager made him the obvious choice for director of sales, US and Canada.’
Turning his attention to Mr Ullrich’s appointment, the CEO continued: ‘Mark really understands the needs of international customers. His expertise in Symetrix product technology makes him an invaluable resource. We are really fortunate to have someone with Mark’s unique set of skills as our international sales manager.’
Mr Ullrich has previously served as a sales administrator, a system support engineer, and a senior technical sales engineer in his eight years at Symetrix. ‘In the short term, I intend to provide a new and dedicated resource to our excellent partner network of international distributors,’ said Mr Ullrich. ‘For the long term, I look forward to continued export sales growth with a strategic focus on developing markets, conferencing, and all things DSP.’
