New two-way Entasys 200 enclosures from Community
Community’s new Entasys 200 family of column line-array loudspeakers comprises four models that the manufacturer claims ‘redefine performance’. Employing a two-way design, complex frequency shaded LF crossover networks and proprietary ‘Entasys’ convex-curve HF, the range boasts a consistent beam width of up to a reported 16kHz.
Comprising the smaller ENT203 and ENT206 that are designed for delay fill and confined spaces, the larger ENT212, and the extended-length ENT220 that can provide control of an LF beamwidth without the need for additional columns or external LF extensions, the new models are suited for a range of indoor and outdoor applications.
All models include a 70V/100V internal low-distortion autoformer for constant-voltage applications and a pan-and-tilt mounting bracket. Each compact unit can be ordered in black or white, but can be painted in order to blend in with specific decoration schemes.
The two larger models also employ multi-way LF frequency shading to achieve low-frequency pattern control and consistently wide midrange vertical beamwidths, whilst all models are said to maintain flat phase and frequency response.
