Pioneer karaoke speakers target large spaces

Aiming to deliver ‘clear and smooth vocal sounds together with strong bass’, Pioneer has launched two dedicated karaoke loudspeakers in the shape of the CS-X080 and CS-X100. Both models are intended for professional applications.

According to Pioneer, the average size of karaoke rooms within the Asian market has grown in recent years, requiring solutions capable of covering large spaces. Both new loudspeakers are aiming to fulfil this demand with feature sets including symmetrical designs, tweeters that can be adjusted by 30-degrees, and ratings of 600W for the CS-X080, and 800W for the CS-X100.

The 8.8kg CS-X080 boasts a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz, while the larger 12.9kg CS-X100 offers 40Hz to 20kHz. Both speakers have an 8-ohm impendence.
