Powersoft takes service centre training to Asia

ASIA: Powersoft recently conducted a series of training courses in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. Designed in collaboration with the manufacturer’s distributors in the region, the Powersoft First Level Training Course visited three authorised service centres. The programme forms part of Powersoft’s long-term strategy to develop expertise across all markets through brand awareness.

The two-day sessions were hosted by the manufacturer’s customer care manager Marco Mannucci, who visited Sri Lankan distributor SoundGear in Columbo, Indian distributor Cinetekk in Chennai and Indonesian distributor PT Citra Intirama in Jakarta.

‘Both of the training sessions conducted in Colombo and Jakarta are first level courses created by Powersoft and our goal is to provide in-depth knowledge on how fix failures and allow service engineers or technicians of distributors to be better equipped and able to provide specialised support for their customers and end users,’ explained Mr Mannucci.

Cinetekk offered training to all of the company's employees under the direction of VP of sales and marketing, Murali Monohar. Mr Mannucci led the sessions alongside Cinetekk owner, Swamy K Varathan.

‘Having Marco here with us was a real benefit to my team,’ Mr Monohar enthused. ‘He gave us proper training on how to handle the amplifiers and his point of view really struck a chord with my people. Having worked with several other notable amplifier brands before, our working relationship with Powersoft’s senior management is special. They are as hands-on as we are and our management style serves both companies well.’

Cinetekk will now send employees to the Powersoft headquarters in Florence for the second part of the training programme this April.

‘Generally each course is divided into two sessions, theoretical and practical,’ explained Powersoft marketing and sales director, Luca Giorgi. ‘In the former, the amplifiers and their main operating methods are explained. In the latter, course members learn to detect failures to the amplifier’s board and how to replace it. Through these training courses, Powersoft pays close attention to the quality of our products and assures efficient and effective post-sale service. In addition, these courses are a great opportunity for service centres looking to expand their know-how.’
