Revolabs to present ‘next generation’ wireless conferencing seminar at InfoComm India
INDIA: PS Tiwari, Revolabs technical manager for India and the Middle East, is to present a seminar entitled ‘Next-Generation Wireless Audio Conferencing Technology’ at InfoComm India 2013. Making up part of the educational offering at the exhibition, the seminar will take place on Tuesday, September 17th between 2pm and 3.30pm in Room D at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre.
In the presentation, Mr Tiwari will outline the basic requirements and building blocks of audio conferencing systems as well as identify and explore the five major challenges in traditional wired audio conferencing systems (including audio intelligibility, signal-to-noise ratio, and acoustical and aesthetical challenges). He will also discuss tools available for gauging the level of these issues, and how they can be resolved using wireless technology. The presentation will conclude with a discussion on how wireless solutions should be designed and deployed for more stable performance.
‘Of the five major audio conferencing challenges that I will be covering, one in particular stands out for its complexity: room acoustics,’ commented Mr Tiwari. ‘Room acoustics play a major role in the proper selection and placement of audio components, helping integrators provide effective installations and the best possible audio to their clients. We will explore the major acoustic parameters and how they relate to the placement of audio peripherals.’
Revolabs COO Marc Cremer added: ‘We are very pleased to have an expert like PS on our team to share his extensive industry experience and knowledge of wireless audio conferencing technology. Attendees will leave his session with a better understanding of how wireless systems can solve the challenges posed by traditional wired solutions, and how they can use this technology to bring a better conference experience to their clients.’
