SZMG TV Network Station upgrades with Studer OnAir 3000
CHINA: The Anheng Li Company recently installed two Studer OnAir 3000 digital consoles into Shenzhen’s 200sq-m SZMG TV Network, which recently increased the audio and mixing capabilities of both of its studios. Advanced Communication Equipment Co Ltd (ACE) supplied the consoles.
Shenzhen TV Studio rigorously tested the consoles for a month prior to deciding on the purchase. With the addition of a Gpio card, the OnAir 3000 console can support up to 16 channels, which enable audio and video functionality to be used in two live studio shows and broadcasting programmes. According to the operators, this feature has reduced the SZMG TV Network’s workload considerably.
The OnAir 3000’s snapshot recall ability lends itself to situations such as broadcasting multiple news programmes, sports broadcasts and guest programmes by switching between different mixer settings.
While large video content can sometimes lead to a delay in sound signal, the OnAir 3000 five-second delay function allows an operator to cope with a variety of screen time delay conditions.
