Spanish manufacturers invite you to Lunch and Learn
MIDDLE EAST: Spanish manufacturers Work Pro, Arthur Holm and LDA AudioTech are hosting a ‘Lunch and Learn’ event in Dubai on December 15th. The Secartys-organised event will see the three manufacturers show how their A/V and integration solutions can be used to solve common problems.
‘It’s not just a product presentation, there will be training to help people understand the technology and also explain to them how to use it,’ said Juan Jose Vila, VP of proaudio and AV at Secartys. ‘LDA is specialised in EN-54 technology which is currently interesting for a lot of companies in the Middle East. Arthur Holm makes innovative A/V integration with screens so I think they will also provide content which will be interesting for any integrator. Work Pro will be explaining remote control of audio devices using a custom interface in an easy way, as well as how to solve audio problems in highly reverberant areas using column speakers. With all three manufacturers taking part we believe the content is enough to make the event profitable for any company. It will be very interesting and very focused.’
The concept for the event will see three presentations take place over lunch. These will cover how to convert 100V analogue systems into multizone, multichannel and low cost digital audio streaming systems; EN 54-16: The latest European standard for Public Address and Voice Alarm systems (PA/VA); and the collaborative meeting and conference room. How technology can help you to increase productivity and achieve sustainability.
‘After lunch, each company will sit in a demo area so attendees can visit and get personalised training from any of us,’ added Mr Vila. ‘We will be there for the rest of the day so we can give in-depth training during the afternoon if people would like it.’
Mr Vila believes that the format of the event will be beneficial for those working in Dubai as well as people from surrounding countries. ‘If people from outside Dubai want to come, they know that they will only need to spend lunch and maybe part of the afternoon with us so they could fly in during the morning and fly home in the evening,’ he reasoned. ‘Dubai at the moment is full of events like this, but I think this is a bit different. If we want to create audience interest, first we must innovate something and I think this concept could be interesting.’
The event will take place at Dubai’s Park Regis Kris Kin hotel from 1pm on Monday December 15th and is free to attend. To register for Lunch and Learn, click here.
