Sun Infonet brings Nexo training to India
INDIA: Two-day workshops as part of the Nexo ETC (Education, Training and Certification) programme, were recently hosted by Sun Infonet at locations in Bangalore and Mumbai. The distributor invited a selection of renowned systems integrators and rental companies that were previously unaware of the French manufacturer's products to experience the latest offerings. According to Sun Infonet, guests at both workshops showed great interest in the solutions and techniques presented.
The first workshop took place in Bangalore and was attended by Nexo SA sales manager, Nicolas Kirsch, and director of R&D, Francois Deffarges. Together with the Sun Infonet technical team, the pair explored the technology used in Nexo products and offered advice about its advantages in various applications. Topics included: general acoustics theory; line array theory; networking and control software; and advanced system design and practical operation. The presentation was said to be 'easily understood' by all participants, with the Nexo team immediately addressing any questions raised.
DS Pro Sound is the biggest STM user in India and carries almost every Nexo product in its inventory. DS Pro Sound owner, Mr Dhinakar, was on hand in Bangalore to share his experience, especially on the second day, where a live band and DJ performed on a stage equipped with an STM PA.
Nexo products on show included the PS10-R2 and PS15-R2, LS18 sub bass, Geo M6 compact line arrays, 45N-12 line monitors and the different modules of the flagship STM system ? M46, S112 and B112.
Following two days in Bangalore, the Nexo and Sun Infonet teams replicated the sessions in Mumbai. A 'huge number' of guests attended the workshop, including systems integrators, rental companies, sound engineers and music consultants. Encouraged by the large number of attendees, Sun Infonet has promised to return for more Nexo training workshops in the future.
