Versatile A/V interconnect devices from Altinex

Published:

The TNP528 and TNP528C tabletop interconnect boxes are the latest additions to Altinex’s line of ‘tilt ‘n plug’ offerings. The TNP528 and the customisable TNP528C are designed to act as convenient, one-touch access tabletop connection devices for A/V presentation systems.

The TNP528 is a hybrid solution with digital HDMI and analogue VGA interconnects, and includes network and USB ports designed for mounting into tables, podiums, or other furniture. The UL/cUL-certified tool is optimised to facilitate power and network access in addition to audio and video connections for a laptop computer.

The TNP528’s input plate is accessed by pushing down on the top cover, at which point the unit auto-tilts open and remains securely in place. The standard TNP528’s pre-configured sectional plate – identified as the SP3501SC – contains one USB type A, two VGA video, two HDMI, two 3.5mm audio and two RJ-45 Cat-6 network connectors. All connectors have 1.8m cables, and to ensure easy access to power, the TNP528 and TNP528C both incorporate dual 12-amp AC sockets.

The TNP528C, meanwhile, is a customisable version that can be outfitted with a wide range of available connector options. While the standard TNP528 employs a black matte finish, the TNP528C is also available in brushed aluminium and in a black Reflection series mirror finish.
