Al Tamez for Projects opts for Axient
QATAR: After previous frequency interferences and signal loss issues, AL Tamez For Projects has invested in an Axient wireless microphone system from Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprise (NMK), Shure’s local distributor. The move comes after prior experience using the system at Al Sadd Sports Club and a recommendation of Axient to its client, the Ministry of Cultural and Sports, for the Qatar Total Open 2016.
‘Frequency stability, interference issues and reliability were some of the factors we considered while selecting the wireless microphone system for the event,’ explained Shiju John, administration head and Skariya KC, project administrator at Al Tamez for Projects. ‘With a capacity of 7,000 visitors at the tennis court during the event and various frequency broadcasters’ equipment, we needed a wireless system of high audio quality to avoid the frequency interference. To meet this requirement, we selected Shure Axient as our main system for the Qatar Total Open 2016. Axient ensured us stability across RF operations with frequency diversity, interference detection and avoidance. The frequency avoidance feature has brought wireless microphone systems to a higher level and we are pleased to be one of the first users of Shure Axient in Qatar. We are extremely happy with the final product delivered to us and we hope to see continued improvements on wireless technology.’
The Al Tamez for Projects team also praised the distributor. ‘We are very satisfied with the service, including the assistance, immediate response and material delivery provided by NMK. We have also received positive feedback from our client for the support we are providing during crucial scenarios.’
