Amate powers Jarasum Jazz Festival
KOREA: Amate Audio solutions supported several stages at the 12th Jarasum International Jazz Festival in South Korea. Inviting artists from all over the globe, the festival aims to create a cultural exchange through food, dance, arts, sports and music. Attracting over 1.6 million people, the three-day event involved more than 777 bands from 53 countries. Amate solutions were deployed by Sid Sound to reinforce audio at the Party, Acoustic, JJ Hawon and Welcome stages. The equipment was supplied through the manufacturer’s Sound Korean distributor, Daelim Musical Instruments.
A variety of the manufacturer’s solutions were deployed across the four stages, with the main Party stage supported by Xcellence series systems. Left/right hangs comprising 12 X210 cabinets were augmented by two per side X215W, two per side X218W3K and one per side MAW218D7 subwoofers. A pair of X15CEs and SM12Ds provided on-stage monitoring.
The festival’s smaller stages gained sound reinforcement from Amate’s Joker Series systems. At the Acoustic stage this included four JK46A column arrays, two JK18WA2 and two JK15WA subwoofers. The audio system at the Welcome stage was formed from JK318A three-way systems and JK10A point source speakers. Lastly, the festival’s JJ Hawon stage was equipped with MA series systems comprising MA210D7 line array elements, MA215D2K subwoofers and X12CE stage monitors.
