Audinate introduces online Dante Certification programme

Published: WORLD

WEB: Dante Level 1 Certification can now be achieved online, without the need to attend a training event. Audinate created the programme, which consists of two levels, to provide a means of teaching the best practices for installing Dante audio networking. Those who take the course will receive in-depth Dante training.

The Level 1 Certification is designed to test a participant’s proficiency in basic Dante audio networking concepts, and covers audio networking fundamentals, basic networking concepts and how to create a small-scale Dante network, as well as using a Dante Controller and Virtual Soundcard. Those who look to complete the Level 1 Certification can opt to take a course and exam, or an exam only option.

‘We are excited to now offer the Level 1 programme online so anyone can get certified, regardless of their location,’ said Joshua Rush, vice president of marketing and product at Audinate. ‘The in-person Dante Certification programme has been very well received.’

Audinate notes that the Level 1 Certification can still be completed at a training event, as well as online, while Level 2 requires attendance at a training event.

To undertake the Level 1 Certification, visit audinate.com/certify.
