Beginners welcome with JTS wireless
The latest wireless solution from JTS Professional has been designed as much for beginners as more experienced users. The Taiwanese manufacturer has debuted the US-8000 series, including the US-8011D, a reportedly simplified model aimed at users with little to no experience of wireless systems. Also in the range are the US-8011DB and dual channel US-8012DB, which have been designed for small and medium sized applications.
Transmitters for the US-8000 series include the handheld Mh-850G2 and Mh-850L as well as PT-850G2 and PT-850L bodypacks. All three US-8000 series models are equipped with JTS' patent-pending ultrasonic remote setting technology, REMOSET. Using REMOSET, the user can reportedly instantly configure a transmitter at the receiver side with the required data transmitted at the simple push of a button. REMOSET configuration includes microphone sensitivity, RF power, auto power-off function, frequency, preset channel and group, not just frequency.
Designed to operate within the 36MHz bandwidth, the US-8000 also features a scan function for available channels, an automatic energy saving mode and auto power off function which can be set to switch the transmitter off after 10, 30 or 60 minutes of inactivity. The Mh-850L and PT-850L transmitters come with rechargeable batteries with built-in charging circuitry and a connector.
Also new from the manufacturer is the PT-RMS programmable remote mute switch. Designed for use in theatres, houses of worship and similar venues, the PT-RMS offers three modes: Momentary On, Momentary Off and Push On/Push Off. the PT-RMS connects to the microphone input and is compatible with all JTS bodypack transmitters.
