UAE: Over 80 exhibitors are to attend the inaugural edition of Pro Light & Sound Middle East in Dubai. Companies present will include Monacor International, Adam Hall, Martin Professional, Sennheiser, Next-proaudio, Samson Technologies, Bosch and PAN Beam.

The event will include several features, such as Stage On, an outdoor live demonstration area for PA and A/V systems, and a music corner. Run by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, this is the fifth member of the international network of Pro Light & Sound events worldwide. It comes as key sectors reportedly provide a boost for the Middle East professional audio visual and entertainment markets, including industries such as hospitality, retail and education.

Monacor International, a German manufacturer of PA, stage and event technology, will showcase its three brands. These comprise of Monacor, IMG Stageline and JTC. It will also launch its DMIX-20 mixer.

‘Dubai and Pro Light & Sound Middle East is the perfect trading place for our activities in the Middle East and Africa,’ explained Marco Willroth, executive managing director at Monacor International. ‘In this rapidly growing region we are at the right place with our professional PA technology, as well as modern stage and event technology.’

Adam Hall, Martin Professional and Sennheiser are all on board as founding partners, as the companies sign on early to the event.

Alexander Pietschmann, CEO of Adam Hall Group, commented. ‘Due to our worldwide success for more than 35 years, the Middle East demand in the retail, installation, rental, live sound, leisure and sport industries are rapidly increasing. We’re going to introduce the full range of our various brands, stage equipment and cables, since we’re facing increasing demands. We expect business growth from 15 to 18 per cent in the new fiscal year in this region.’

Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt, also emphasised the strength of the market. ‘In addition to urban centres such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha and Kuwait, the demand for audio visual and entertainment solutions spans the wider Middle East, which is one of the most exciting markets in the world today.

‘With the region holding immense potential to become a leading market for audio, visual and entertainment equipment, Pro Light & Sound Middle East brings together leading international players and their range of products under one roof to enable easy access for regional trade buyers,’ Mr Pauwels concluded.
